This Privacy Policy applies to the Parenting Chronicle mobile application together with related services operated by THE ITEM BUREAU LTD. In this policy, THE ITEM BUREAU LTD is referred to as the Service Provider.

This policy explains how Parenting Chronicle handles information when the application is used and how THE ITEM BUREAU LTD approaches privacy for the service.
What information does the application obtain?
The application does not collect, log or store personal information when you download and use it in the ordinary course. Registration is not required. If the application is used with an active internet connection, technical protocol data such as an ephemeral IP address may be transmitted solely to facilitate network connectivity, but this data is not retained or used for tracking.
Does the application collect real-time location information?
No. Parenting Chronicle does not collect precise real-time information about the location of your mobile device.
Do third parties have access to information obtained by the application?
Because the application does not collect personal information through normal use, there is no personal application data shared with third parties on that basis.
What are my opt-out rights?
You may stop all use of the application by uninstalling it using the standard uninstall processes available on your device or through the application marketplace. If you contact the Service Provider directly or voluntarily provide information by other means, you may request deletion of that information by contacting eleanor5whitfield@gmail.com.
Children
The application is not intended for children under 13 years of age, or any higher age threshold required by applicable law. The Service Provider does not knowingly solicit personal data from children or market the application directly to them. Because the application does not collect personal information during normal use, children’s data is not at risk from ordinary app usage alone. If personal information is voluntarily provided by other means by a person under the applicable age, parent or guardian consent is required where permitted by law.
Security
Because the application does not collect personal data during normal use, the risk of exposure is limited. Even so, no security system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. The Service Provider uses reasonable safeguards to protect systems and any information it may hold.
Data Retention
Parenting Chronicle does not retain personal information collected through ordinary in-app usage because such information is not collected. If you voluntarily provide information to the Service Provider outside the application, that information may be retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your request, comply with legal obligations, maintain internal records, resolve disputes, or enforce agreements.
Data Deletion
If you voluntarily provide personal information directly to the Service Provider and later want that information removed, you may request deletion by emailing eleanor5whitfield@gmail.com. The Service Provider will review and process such requests subject to any legal obligations or legitimate record-keeping requirements that may apply.
Data Breach Notification
Since the application does not collect personal data through normal use, the risk of a data breach affecting your personal information is minimal. If a breach occurs involving information that you voluntarily provided, the Service Provider will provide notice where required by applicable law.
Changes to this policy
The Service Provider may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any material change will be reflected by posting an updated policy with a revised effective date. Where required by law, consent to material changes will be sought before the changes take effect. Your consent
If you voluntarily provide information to the Service Provider and the processing of that information is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing that took place before the withdrawal request was made.
